Inspection

We have written a number of programs for 3D inspection, metrology and statistical quality control applications for companies such as Crown Windley, Keeling Metrology and Autocast. The components analysed were usually manufactured to very tight tolerances, for example, turbine blades and automotive engine components. Our programs interfaced with, and helped to analyse data from 3D inspection machines. Statistical programs perform process capability and process control analyses, outputting results in tabular and graphical formats.

The Quadstar graphical quality assurance data management system which we developed for Engineering Data Management Ltd. is another example of our work in this application area.
